According to the National AIDS control committee's statistics
for the year 2005 , HIV prevalence among women in Cameroon today
is unbelievably high(6.8% Nationally), With the two worse hit
provinces being the North West(11.9%) and the
South West (11%).So we cannot keep silent
and close our eyes to a huge and alarming situation like this one.
70% of those infected are in the suburbs and interlands.
"Even though no motorable road leads there, AIDS is there"!
