What we do >

Our mission is to alleviating poverty by providing
access to basic health care to the less privileged
in our community irrespective of age, color, religion,
and racial affiliations, and through capacity building
and training workshops to add quality meaning to 
their lives and the promotion of basic education to all.

So for the passed seven years, we have been working
at the grassroots level in the communities of southwest
province of Cameroon and its environs with hopes of
extending this project Nationwide. Below is a summary
of our activities through these seven years. Details of
these activities can be viewed on our Annual report page.


1999-2002

We carried out health services at Munyenge in Muyuka subdivision,
earmarking the following activities:

  • Sensitization on HIV/AIDS/STIs
  •  Distribution of condoms and didactic materials
  •  Fight against Malaria
  •  identification of affected orphans and street children
  • Family and reproductive health
  •  Environmental hygiene and basic sanitation
  • Capacity building programs for self help groups
  • workshops with farming groups to improve yeild.

2002 - 2004

We concentrated at Bonadikombo in Limbe health District.
There, we had a mobile health center specialised in the following activities:

  •  Sensitizaion on HIV/AIDS, STDs
  • Distribution of condoms and didactic Materials
  • Fight against Malaria
  • Pediatrie and Reproductive health
  •  capcity building with farming groups to improve yeild 
  •  Support and care for PLWHA(persons living with HIV/AIDS),
  •  orphans, street children,women groups fighting AIDS

2004 - 2006

We are running a charitible pharmacy in Muyuka subdivision
for the distribution of essential drugs  and working
on the Roll Back Malaria program in the Konye and
Nguti Health Districts of the Meme and Kupe
-muanenguba divisions respectively where various
activities are being carried out:

  • Sensitization campaigns against HIV/AIDS and STIs,
  • Distributions of Condoms and didactic materials,
    and essential drugs,
  • Training of health area committee members on the
    control strategies for the Roll back malaria 
    program in the Konye and Nguti health districts
    and supervision of these activities,
  • Environmental hygiene and basic sanitation
  •  Family and Reproductive health
  • support of PLWHA, affected/infected orphans, street
    children, old mothers taking care of affected children
  • formation of farming groups to alleviate poverty.
